1. Access the registration link
Go to this registration link.
Register your email address and click Next.
Provide your contact details and click Next. Make sure to use an email and phone number you have access to, all information related to your D-U-N-S® number will be sent to those contact details.
2. Select the type of program
Choose the option that applies to you:
Developer Program – More information here
Apple Business Manager – More information here
Click Create New DUNS.
3. Define your company’s location
Select the country where your company is located and click Next.
4. Enter your company’s basic information
Fill in the fields using the official details from your legal documents:
Full Legal Business Name: Company’s legal name (not trade name).
Address:Operational address.
City / Region / Territory: City or state.
Postal Code
Click Lookup by Name/Address.
5. Verify if your company already has a D-U-N-S® number
The platform will display a list of entities that match the information provided. Review carefully to confirm if your company is already registered.
If you find your company:
Click Select to view the already assigned D-U-N-S® number.
Check that the information is correct.
If everything matches, select, look for the message “Select this link to email your D-U-N-S Number information to yourself” and click this link to send the information to your email.
If you need to correct data, look for the message “If any of the above information is incorrect, please click here to submit an update to your business information” and click click here. You can review the steps in more detail in this article.
If your company does not appear in the list or the search returns no results:
Look for the message “Otherwise, click here to submit a request to create a new D-U-N-S” and click click here.
A form will open where you must complete your company’s information.
6. Complete the form to create your D-U-N-S® number
Mandatory fields are marked in red, but it is recommended to complete all information available to avoid delays.
Company Name:
Full Legal Business Name: Legal name
DBA / Tradestyle: Trade name (optional)
General Information:
Company Phone: Company’s phone number
Business Street Address: Address where the company operates
Address Line 2: Additional address details (optional)
Business City: City of operation
Business State / Province: State (optional)
Business Postal Code: Postal code (optional)
Business Country: Country of operation
Operational Information:
Business Structure / Legal Structure: Type of company (e.g., Corporation, LLC)
CEO Name y Title: Name and title of the legal representative or principal executive
Company Website: Website (optional)
Home-Based Business?: Indicate if the company operates from the owner’s home
Number of Employees: Number of employees, including executives and owners
Date Business Started: Date when operations started or when the company was registered
Industry Classification (optional):
SIC y NAICS: You may leave blank if unknown
When finished, click Next.
7. Attach a legal document of your company
Finally, attach a legal document that confirms your company’s existence and registered address (example: tax certificate, RUC, RUT, etc.). If you skip this step, our team will need to contact you directly to request it, which may delay delivery of your D-U-N-S®.
In the Additional Details section, you may add any extra information you consider relevant for our team. When done, click Submit.
📎 Limit: max. 5 files of 10 MB each (25 MB total). If you need to attach more, compress them into a ZIP file.
8. Wait for the delivery of your D-U-N-S® number
Once you complete your request, you will see a confirmation screen showing the case creation and reference number.
You will also receive a confirmation email, keep it, as the reference number may be needed if you request additional support regarding your application.
Once our team finishes reviewing your information, you will receive your D-U-N-S® number at the email you registered. The delivery time is 5 to 14 business days.
⚠️ If additional information is required, our team will contact you through the email or phone number you provided at the beginning. If they do not receive a response within 48 hours, your request will be denied and you will have to start the process again.
